1.Equivalent grades: DIN1.7225/42CrMo4 , AISI 4140/SAE4140

2.Available sizes: Round dia 16mm to 600mm; flat 16 - 400mm x 200 - 800mm

3.Manufacture: EF/ESR, hot forged/ hot rolled

4.Surface condition: black/grinded/rough turned/milled

5.Delivery condition: annealed/quenched and tempered

6.Hardness:annealed, 241HBS max/ after Q+T, hardness requested by buyer

8.Characteristics: special alloy steel, engineering steel supplied in quenched and tempered conditions. Very good machinability. High toughness. High creep strength. Repeated impact resistant capability.

9.Applications: components with high requirements on toughness, e.g. gear wheels, pinions, connecting rods, parts for mechanical engineering .
