Machinery Directive, Low Voltage Directive & Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive

Machinery Directive(MD) refers mainly to the safety of machinery equipment and machinery components.
Low Voltage Directive (LVD) covers the electrical equipments, with an output voltage of 50V ~10000V (AC); 75V~1500V (DC). The electrical equipments used in explosive enviroment, for radiology and medical, ammeter, airplane, railway and ship equipment are excluded.
Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (ECD) applies to electrical and electronic products covering electroinc, electrical equipment parts, to a very wide scope.
SGS inspectors know very well the legal articles and regulatory requirements throughout the world, how and when a product must be assessed, tested and inspected. Any defects can be traced in a timely manner under with their expertise, experience and modern equipment.
