Polikim A.S. was founded by three engineers (MSc/PhD) in 1971 to produce and market top quality egineering plastics. Polikim continues its operations at its 6000m2 indoor facilities.
Collaborating with DuPont, Polikim first began to produce finished and semi-finished products from polytetrafluoroethylene, DuPont's Teflon®, and later on expanded its product range to cover Kestamid® (Cast Polyamide) and Ulpolen®1000 (UHMWPE) with a vast number of varieties and dimensions for different applications.
Now as a polymer center, Polikim develops solutions on engineering plastics, elastomers and composites. With its skilled team of engineers, deeply rooted experience and know-how, Polikim is well equipped to give technical support to its customers for product development, assembly and implementation. With its in-house mechanical machining facility, Polikim is very well positioned to meet customer demand both for semi-finished and finished products.
Polikim is proud to be the pioneer of production of engineering plastics in Turkey since 1971. Awards, letters of appreciation from government and private sector companies are evidences of the successful company history.
As many as thirty registered trademarks of Polikim are brands with highest brand recognition in the engineering plastics sector in Turkey. Polikim's trademarks such as Efalon®, Kestamid®, Ulpolen®. Contalon®, Poligraf®, Polikort®, Polital®, Kempomp®, Kempak®, Kemgraf®, Kestoil® and Kestlub® and others are used as generic names for products by endusers as symbols of technology and high quality.
Based on the yearly statistics announced each year since 1993 for top ranking production companies in Turkey in terms of turnover from production, 75 out of the top 100 chose Polikim as a reliable supplier of best value engineering plastics. Aside from this reference that can be given at a first glance, the company is proud to be providing service to all customers and inquiries across the country and now at 16 countries abroad. |
