Led by world-famous biologist, Kawin R&D team is comprised of many veterans with both deep knowledge and rich experience in the biotech industry. Ever since its establishment, Kawin has undertaken many national key projects in the fields such as vaccines, antibodies, proteins and preparations. Kawin now focuses on developing highly-advanced technical platforms of new types of vaccines (such as DNA vaccine, antigen determinant-based protein vaccine and polypeptide vaccine), recombinant protein drugs and new types of preparations.
Kawin has seven GMP-certified production workshops for both biologics and chemical drugs. Production lines include injection lines for pre-filled injection, liquid injection in vials, lyophilized powder for injection, and solid formulation lines for tablets, capsules, granules and effervescent tablets. Unmatched highest quality control systems have been established and approved by international GMP audits.
While enjoying market leadership position in domestic Hepatology and Neurology markets, Kawin has also been actively engaged in promoting the international business. We have started export of our core product rh Interferon Alfa-2b since 2007, and registrations in dozens of countries are being conducted globally. At the same time, Kawin is also providing professional technical services for genetic engineering products, from strain technology, process improvement, to API and finished products production.
