Parts and Components Department was set up in Dongfeng Motor Company in August 1999.On July 1,2003,it was as a whole enrolled into the joint venture company between Dongfeng and Nissan and it was named as Parts and Components Business Unit of Dongfeng Motor Company.
The unit has total assets up to RMB over 6 billion yuan and about thirty thousand employee, having 17 subsidiaries in Hubei, Jiangshu, Shanghai etc.. Its products supply for heavy,middle,light truck, car and farm vehicle etc. with over 100 model and over 1000 product assembly. Its production capacity can reach 4 million vehicles per year with sales revenue RMB 10 billion .
